Spring Reading

Hello my friends

Yesssss Spring has arrived!!!!! ( A bit of late blog about it i know).
As a teenager i use technology too much and as a child i loved to read, i read for hours on hours while running out of books may i say. Since its spring and in the UK the sun is slowly appearing more ( hooray:D) i would like to get out more in the fresh air and read some of my books i have on my shelf.

 1. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks . I'm the sort of person who watches the film then reads the books to see what the film didn't include and well this books had a few little tiny details that weren't in the film. I love this film and the book was even more amazing, i can't wait to get back into it again.
 2. Tall, Thin and Blonde by Dyan Sheldon. I have yet adventured into this book yet but it caught my eye as i have yet read a book about the hair i natural have and well there is just something that is making me want to read this time of year.
 3. The Time of Our Lives by Lynda Page. I read this book all through the winter and i made me want so bad for summer to come and for the sun  to shine through the clouds. Since its a spring a season away from Summer i want to read this to make me think of all the wonderful things summer this year will bring.
 4. A Witch in Love by Ruth Warburton. I got half way through this book last year and didn't touch it again as my sister wanted to read it , this book is part of a series ( first one A Witch in Winter and last one A Witch Alone) and i loved the first book , I literally couldn't put it down. I hope to continue reading this book this spring and summer.

5. Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. As soon as i saw the trailer for this film i couldn't wait to see it and when i saw it in the cinema i wanted to see it again, that's how much i loved the film. My loving mom got me this book the day i had four teeth pulled out (ouch), i love her even more than i did before. The film is nearly exactly like the book but i prefer the book as it have more detail and it gives a more pictured image, however just like The Witch in Love book i have yet to complete reading this. I really want to read this book and i think i this will be the first book of my spring reading.

My range of reading this spring, fingers crossed i read them all!!
Let me know what books you will be reading this Spring??

Revision

Hello my friends

I know in the UK that it is coming to the time of year when exams are coming, horrible i know!!! However its worth it when you have finished and today  since people are revising i thought i would give you some types of revision that you could do if you like them.

When revising i like to do cue cards as they are just so simple to do, just like any other revision too. All you have to do it copy down the information you have been learning in what ever lesson you are in, for example my cue cards are on Leisure and Tourism and i have wrote down all the jobs types with qualifications, visitor types etc. You can then put on your music and read them over and over again until you feel like it has gone into your head and you can move on. Another thing with cue cards is that you can take them out with you so if you are going out and its a long travel journey you can just pop them in your bag and revise while you travel . Ideal isn't it?

Mind maps or spider diagrams is another top revision type i do,  just like the cue cards you write down information you have learnt but this time you split it into categories so it easier for you to remember. This will help you as you can relate to different things and then when it comes to the test you can remember what it is part of ( if that makes sense). With spider diagrams i like to highlight it many colours and it creates a picture in my mind and i can remember that a certain colour represents a certain type of information.

Sometimes i just prefer to simply get out a revision text book with a highlighter and read while highlight all the information that is showing. This is just a simple type of revision as you don't have to spend quality revision time writing out all the notes when it is straight in front of you. Books are great as you can just open them  and half the time the information/notes that is there you need and you can just get straight on with remembering it.

When revising i like to create a playlist of upbeat and slow tempo music so i can then just plug in my headphones or place my phone on my speaker and listen to it  so it cancels out all the distractions and noises. With music you can sort of  let it help you as you can say i listen to..... when revising......

Well there is 3 revision types that i simply prefer, i haven't really come across any more that i could so if you have any that help you and could maybe help me them let me know in the comments. If  you use any of these i hope they are successful and i wish you all very well in your exams.

See ya later

Change of Heart

Hello my friends

If you have been reading my blog for a quite a while or have been reading a few of my posts lately you can probably see its change a bit and that well that's what i hear to say.

Instead of rambling on like i normally do i am just going to get straight to the point! After a long time sticking to this plain blog name i have decided to change it to a more outgoing, suitable and unique name 'Lady Little'. Now i know what your thinking for all of those that read Niomi Smart blog i have just simply copied her name, well i haven't, i read her blog for inspiration and well i liked the name, i thought it was quite good so i simply changed it to how i wanted it to be. Lady Little is me of course i am not a lady yet i know but i always dreaming about what it would be like when i become and well the little is because i small nothing much more to that !!

One fact i should tell you is that i'm get quite bored looking at the same thing over and over again, so i decided to spice up the whole template of my blog what do you think??? I prefer this very much and i don't think i will be changing it any time soon. It has like this vintage/modern look to it and that's what i mainly like about especially the few little birds in the corner plus it has my favourite colour a light dust of pink with purple.

Also not that you would really want to know but the web address for my blog has changed from elliedoeseverything.blogpspot.co.uk to ladylittlexx.blogspot.co.uk
Anyway i hope you look the new look let me know in the comments what you think? Keep looking for more as i have a few posts lined up and i will be sharing them soon.

Bye

Easter

Hello my friends xx

Sorry its been a while but i have been having a lot of school work these weeks and you know school work before social right ?? Anyway since Easter is coming up i thought i would talk and sort of chat with you about it.

Everyone enjoys the time of coming up to Easter as its a time when we can stuff our faces with chocolate without anyone looking at us weird...... well that's what i do !!!  However Christians see it as time to celebrate the day its the day that they believe that Jesus came back to Earth or back from the dead after his Crucifixion. For some people its the day that lent ends which is where you give something up to show to respect for Jesus starving. I tried giving up biscuits and sweets but it sadly failed what did you guys give up?

No matter how you wish to celebrate i think its always another holiday where you gather up all of your family and spend the time together. Plus you get to make people jealous of all your chocolate especially when they really wanted it too (so mean :) ).

Since its Easter and well you can't really give much ideas of what to get people, lets just go see what the world of chocolate has to offer.

M&M Peanut Luxury Egg 378G
Tesco- £8.00
OMG M&Ms!!!!! Likely any person that knows will know that i love this chocolate its the best. It is literally two of my favorite things combined: chocolate and nuts, its so yummy i just want it now !!!!!!! Now i want this.

Bon Bon Buddies One Direction Large Egg And Bar 200G

Not a massive fan of one direction but for anyone who likes or is obsessively in love with then i think this will make them have a massive grin on there face.

Milkybar Small Easter Egg 65G
Tesco- £1.50
Someone get me this nowwwwwww!!!!!! I am literally wish i had a whole cupboard stored of white chocolate especially Milkybar . This is to me the best chocolate ever its some creamy and delicious, oh its make me feel like in heaven.

Rolo Medium Easter Egg 131G
Tesco- £1.50
This just melts in your mouth straight away!!! Another one of my favorites.

Cadbury Large Egg Marv Creations 291G
Tesco- £4.00
Oooooooo the new dairy milk marvellous creations. I will be certainly getting this for my sister.

Now if haven't acutally noticed by know i have a big love for chocolate and i literally love any chocolate except coconut and fruit & nut chocolate. To stop myself from literally filling this whole post with Easter eggs i am going to show you some recipes that maybe you could give a try when it comes to Easter Sunday.

Chocolate bread and butter pudding
Slices of hot cross bun topped in chocolate

This recipe is from Asda and it literally looks so delicious i think i am going to end up making for my mom, dad, sister, Nan and granddad. This recipe serves 8 and is ready in an hour. If you want to make this recipe visit here.

Cupcakes topped with sweeties to make bunny decoration

Once again another recipe from Asda. This can certainly be something to have kids included with, not only are they quite simple to make, they look Easter festive. To make these visit here.

Hot cross bun ring with spiced honey butter

Whats not better than the traditional hot cross bun??? I look forward to these every year, i absolutely love this lightly toasted with a ton of butter spreaded all over them !!!! If you want to be very skillful and have people ask you how you are such a good cook, then why don't you give these hot cross bun ring with spiced honey butter ago. This is a recipe from BBC good food channel so if you want to make them visit here.

I hope you enjoyed this very festive post, let me know in the comments down below what your favorite chocolate is and what you look forward to when it comes to Easter. If i don't get to say this to all you guys i hope you all have a very nice Easter and i will talk to you after.

The Countryside

Hello there.........

Recently I went on a school trip with my geography class to do some investigating on rivers (i know boring). Apart from the fact that it wasn't that interesting to find out the width, depth etc of the river, it did have beautiful lands and rivers. I wanted just to share some of the beauty.

As you can see there is many pictures of river but that's because i need it for my work. If you are wondering where this place is, its called Carding Mill Valley and it's in Shropshire, England. Many people go there for walks, walking there dogs and hiking up the hills so if you are interested in all or one of them and you live in England you should go up.

Hope you enjoyed this different type of post

Love Clothing

Hola my readers

If you have been checking out my blog for quite a while then you can see that my layout and backing theme has totally changed don't you just love it? Its a new year so i wanted an entire change and this backing just flashed 'have me', 'have me'. Hope you guys are liking it.

Speaking of new things i have recently come across this site called love clothing  and i'm obsessing over all the clothes. Love clothing is an online vintage, retro and indie clothing range, it has the most gorgeous and outstanding clothes you need to check them out ! Since i very much into vintage, retor and indie plus its the fashion trend right now, it make me fall in love with this brand even more . However as teenager i don't have the money to purchase the whole shop and right now i can't even buy one, it sucks being a teenager sometimes. But today i wanted to show some of the clothes they sell and my favourites.

The first thing that caught my eye as soon as went onto the site is this Horse Print Swing Shirt Dress. I don't know what caught my eye but it think it was because it was out of my comfort zone, its not normal something i would wear but for a while i have becoming to have an interest in dresses especially this one . Another thing is that its very different to the clothes  i wear and its got these bright colours which is another thing i don't look for in clothes. I think this dress could be worn as a daytime outfit along with some white converse and skin coloured tights and it could be worn as evening outfit with converse again or some black high heels along with a shoulder bag. This is retailed at a price of £25 which to me isn't that bad.

Tartan is starting to appear more into the fashion trend and once again its another thing i wouldn't count myself wearing. I don't have much to say about this but its a skirt that has to go with certain skirts like a white top or as shown on as the picture a light blue top. I would wear this skirt as a day time skirt as i don't think it would be suitable for a evening outfit. The skirt is retailed at a price of £20.
Ahhhhh jeans don't you just love them ?? I am literally in love with jeans especially acid wash jeans, i think its because they look good with most things in anyone's closet and in my opinion they suit anyone. I am always on the look for jeans and these jeans will certainly be on mind when i have the money to get some. Acid wash jeans are my favourites and i have yet to purchase any, this jeans are at a retailed price of £30.

There is not many words to describe this but gorgeous what is your opinon? I love this whole outfit from the high heel boot shoes (don't know the exact name), the pastel blue faux leather skater skirt to the daisy mid sleeve shirt its just totally gorgeous and i would love to get my hands on all of it. I especially love the pastel blue skirt and for once i do see myself wearing it as i am a very much skater skirt lover, i think this skirt would go with mainly white or cream coloured top half items as it makes it stand out. This outfit would be classy for daytime and evening as it hasn't got any label for it. The skirt is retailed at a price of £20.00.
Parental Advisory white beanie- £10

Retro Coco Dress- £28
There is just a little in site to what love clothing sell, hope it got you interested. No copyright was intended from this as i only want to show my interest of clothing .
